Managing Director of Messagenet

Andrea Galli was born in 1974 in Milan, where he still lives and works.
While studying for his degree in Telecommunications Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan from 1993 to 1998, he worked as the system administrator for DIIAR (Department of Hydraulic, Environmental and Survey Engineering) where he developed and managed the department's web and email systems.
In 1999, Galli worked as a network consultant for some of Italy's most well known private corporations, including HP and Banca Intesa. He also oversaw the creation of one of the first computerized classrooms with public Internet access for the Physics Department of the Università degli Studi of Milan, the Calculation and Multimedia Laboratory. He designed all of the computer security aspects connected with this project.
Galli's collaboration with COMM2000 began in 1992 with his work on creating Telex messaging applications integrated with mainframes for important companies such as CIT and CARIPLO. In 1995, he developed the web and systems infrastructure of COMM2000, which enabled it to become one of the first Italian operators to enter the ISP market.
From 1995 to 2000, he designed and developed the first Italian unified messaging platform to support the distribution and reception of large volumes of faxes, text messages, telex communications and emails via Internet.
In 2000, together with Marco Fiorentino, Andrea Galli founded Messagenet, of which he remains a partner and Managing Director.
